Creosote treated timber posts, high tensile netting for a long lasting, low maintenance fence.

We were asked to replace a tired old fence on the side of the busy A5 road between Corwen and Llangollen back in March 2021. We spent over a day dismantling old fencing, and cutting back vegetation and over hanging branches to clean working space and extend the life of the new fence.

With both cattle and sheep being grazed on the farm, we fitted two strands of barbed wire above the netting to give more height, whilst also deterring cattle from pushing their heads through to the other side of our new fence.
A single strand of plain wire was fitted below the net, to split undulation and prevent vegetation from growing in to the fence over time.
